In addition to the standard NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre workshops, we also provide training that is customised to our clients requirements. We provide training from basic through to advanced levels in both ICD-10 and OPCS 4 encoding schemes. Our training is delivered to the national standards that govern the allocation of clinical codes within the UK. These rules are adminstered by NHS Connecting for Health, the Department of Health agency currently responsible for clinical coding standards.
All our training is delivered by an experienced NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre approved and TAP accredited clinical coding trainer.
In addition to our basic and advanced coding courses, we also deliver revision/preparation workshops for the National Clinical Coding Qualification and the PACC-UK Certificate, clinical coding specialty workshops and basic anatomy/physiology workshops. Courses can be tailored to suit your organisations specific needs, for example to resolve a training deficit identified by a PbR clinical coding audit. Recent examples of tailored courses include:
Unfortunately we do not offer Foundation training to individuals trying to break into clinical coding due to the cost.
